James is preceded in death by his wife, parents, 3 daughters: Sarah Mashunkashey, Sandra Gastineau, and Neeahtha Chapman, 2 sons: Al Chapman and Jimmy Lee Chapman, 3 brothers: David Harris, Reason Harris, and Leon Harris, 2 sisters: Mary Harris Heck and Jessie Lynch: niece Shirley Morgan and husband Tommy. He passed away on April 20, 2023 at Atoka, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 17 days. He graduated from Stonewall High School and was a member of the Stonewall First Baptist Church. We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2023, at the age of 93, Alvin Wayne Johnson of Coalgate, Oklahoma passed away. James resided in Tupelo, Oklahoma. She is survived by : her former husband Leroy Nelson Bell; her children, Connie Bell Guffy (Ted) of Canyon and Larry Leroy Bell of Denison, Texas. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Barber and Georgia Barber. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 1st 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Atoka Funeral Home (1264 W Liberty Rd, Atoka, OK 74525). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends. He later married Rosa Burden in 1998 in Coalgate, Oklahoma.
